Well I waited patiently, and this weekend he asked me to marry him! So I am sat here with my fantastically beautiful ring sparkling up at me!
I’m unbelievably happy with the ring and diamond. I’ve scrutinized the diamond as closely as I can, in about 50 billion different kinds of light, and I can’t see any imperfections at all. I’m really glad that your advice was so honest and detailed, and I am really really happy with the whole package. To match that, my fiance is also unbelievably pleased, because he had it valued for insurance, and they valued it at £5500. He has chatted to a lot of his male friends, who all feel like they didn’t get value for money on their rings, and he feels 100% happy that we did the right thing.

Success! I became the happiest guy on this planet last night when she eventually (took a minute for her to get the word out between the tears) said YES! It could not have been more perfect, driving around last night asking parents for permission to take their beloved daughter from them, and then the actual proposal!
